Applied Art by reARTivated in the Café Wallenstein storefront window

Art meets everyday life—right where people walk by, pause, and discover something new. From May 1 to May 16, 2026, selected works from reARTivated’s Applied Art line were showcased in the window of Café Wallenstein in Vienna’s 20th district, bringing contemporary design to the attention of a broad audience.

The exhibition featured one-of-a-kind handmade pieces as well as custom designer items for everyday use that uniquely reflect reARTivated’s creative approach: art is not just meant to be viewed, but to be lived.

While the original works breathe new life into existing materials in the spirit of sustainability, the Applied Art collection applies this design philosophy to affordable products for everyday use, such as doormats, ceramics, bags, and stationery. The result is unique design objects with character that combine creativity, appreciation, and a mindful use of existing resources.
