"Forgotten Fashion" is an artistic cycle that explores the theme of "fashion" in the form of textiles, old clothes and costume jewelry.
The works transform supposedly worthless materials that are produced in abundance into unique art objects. The resulting works tell of abundance, identity and change. However, they also visualize the increasingly prevalent throwaway culture in the fashion industry. In the context of "fast fashion", the "Forgotten Fashion" cycle is an invitation to critically question the negative effects of overproduction and consumer frenzy and to think about more sustainable ways of consuming.
